Dysport
If you are familiar with Botox, then you will have a good idea of the uses and treatment for which Dysport is used. Though approved in the United States in April 2009, Dysport has a history of use in other countries since 1991. First approved for aesthetic use outside the U.S. in 2001, Dysport has steadily gained in popularity around the world. Today Dysport is marketed and sold for aesthetic use in 36 countries (as of October 2009).
Today, Dysport is an injection treatment that competes with Botox, and is one that many people turn to for the treatment of frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines). The longevity of the results varies, depending on the individual, with some people seeing results that last from 3-8 months.
