Tattoo Removal
Laser Tattoo Removal works by short pulses of intense light that pass harmlessly through the top layers of the skin to be selectively absorbed by the tattoo pigment. The laser energy causes the tattoo pigment to break into smaller particles that are then absorbed by the body's immune system.
How deep the tattoo is in the skin, is probably the biggest determining factor involved in successfully removing a tattoo. With each treatment, the laser breaks up more ink and goes a little deeper into your skin; blistering and scabbing can often occur. Proper care of the treated area is the most important factor in removing a tattoo without a scar.
