V-Beam
V-beam laser is safe and effective in the treatment of facial and leg veins, rosacea, port wine stains, blood vessel growths, scars, stretch marks, and acne.
The Vbeam is a “non-ablative” laser that produces an intense but gentle burst of light that destroys the selected blood vessels in your skin without damaging the surrounding skin.
The upper layer of skin is protected during the treatment with the Dynamic Cooling Device, which sprays a cooling mist onto the skin before each laser pulse, which makes the treatment more comfortable for patients.
You may notice some mild redness and swelling which usually lasts a few days. You can apply make-up or lotion to the treatment area the day after your treatment. Strict sun avoidance is recommended six weeks before and six weeks after treatment. Use of broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen is advised at all times between treatments.
Vbeam is not recommended for patients with dark skin.
